Stout Design Inc. was founded in 2013 on the idea that the combination of Arts & Smarts could not only create beautiful, charming, and human design work for brands and products, but that it could also drive results. It’s also based on the idea that two rhyming words will seem like they naturally go together. Thankfully we landed on Arts & Smarts before anything else came to mind.

Creativity is a crazy thing. It’s fun. It’s messy. It’s frustrating (in a good way). It keeps us up thinking late at night, and wakes us up again with fresh ideas first thing in the morning.
But the one thing creativity isn’t? A stickler for process. That’s why we have just enough process to keep things on track, but not so much that it confines our thinking. Through our decades of experience, we’ve found this to be the best way to get to new, fresh, bold, and beautiful ideas and designs. Now, this certainly isn’t the only way to work. But we think it’s done a pretty good job for us so far. And we’d love to show you why.
